NAD+ wholesale: sizes, stability and what clinics get wrong

NAD+ is one of the highest-margin, highest-volume products a clinic or pharmacy can stock, and one of the most mishandled. The molecule is stable when lyophilized and cold, and degrades quickly in solution at room temperature. Most quality complaints trace back to storage, not the source.

Formats

Wholesale NAD+ is supplied as lyophilized powder in 500 mg and 1000 mg vials, or as bulk API for pharmacies compounding their own vials. Pre-made solution has a short shelf life and is usually the pharmacy's job, not the supplier's.

Storage and handling

Lyophilized at −20 °C long-term, shipped 2 to 8 °C with a temperature indicator. Once reconstituted, keep refrigerated and use within the pharmacy's beyond-use date. Clinics that leave reconstituted NAD+ on a counter get a yellowing solution and a patient complaint.

Demand planning

Clinic demand is protocol-driven and lumpy: a new NAD+ program can triple monthly volume in one month. Set an allocated inventory with your supplier once you have two months of history, and order on a schedule rather than when the fridge is empty.

Pricing
